Let’s journey together

home to yourself

It doesn’t have to feel like this

Starting a life in a new environment can be stressful. You may be navigating unfamiliar cultural expectations, relationships, loneliness, or the loss of the people and places that once felt like home. Finding a therapist who understands something of that experience—and with whom you genuinely feel a connection—can be hard.

That’s why I’m here.

I specialize in trauma therapy for adults, including people living outside of their home country. I offer a warm, client-centered approach that honors your individual experience and the ways you have learned to navigate the world.

This is your journey. You don't have to figure it all out before you begin. We can start wherever you are.

Individual Psychotherapy

A place to understand what has happened to you—and find your way forward.

Individual therapy is a space to slow down, listen to yourself, and explore what lies beneath the patterns that are no longer serving you.

I work with adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, difficult relationships, major life transitions, burnout, questions of identity and self-worth, and the lingering effects of experiences that have changed them. Sometimes you know exactly what brought you to therapy. Sometimes you simply know that something isn't working anymore. You don't have to have the answers before we begin.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply attentive to your individual experience. I don't believe there is a single way you should be healing. Together, we can become curious about your emotions, relationships, body, memories, and the different parts of yourself that have learned to cope in different ways.

What we might work on

  • Healing from childhood or relational trauma

  • Anxiety, perfectionism, and self-criticism

  • Difficult or painful relationships

  • Major life transitions, loss, and identity changes

  • Burnout, exhaustion, and feeling disconnected from yourself

  • Self-worth and the question of “Am I enough?”

  • Feeling stuck in patterns you understand intellectually but can't seem to change

  • Reconnecting with creativity, meaning, and a sense of aliveness

  • Performance anxiety and the particular challenges of life as a musician or creative professional

How we work

I draw from person-centered, trauma-informed, depth-oriented, and experiential approaches. Our work may be primarily conversational, or we may incorporate creative and experiential methods when they feel useful—including the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM).

I believe deeply in the therapeutic relationship itself: in being witnessed without judgment, having your experience taken seriously, and developing enough safety to become curious about the parts of yourself that may have been difficult to understand.

You don't need to perform here. You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to be “fixed.”

You can simply begin where you are.

For Musicians & Creatives

I also offer therapy for musicians and other creative professionals navigating the intersection of psychological and artistic life. This may include performance anxiety, perfectionism, creative blocks, burnout, artistic identity, difficult experiences within training or performance environments, and musical trauma.

As a performing musician and music psychotherapist, I understand how deeply our identities can become intertwined with what we create. Therapy can be a place to explore that relationship with compassion—and to rediscover the parts of yourself that exist beyond achievement and performance.

Sessions

I work with English-speaking adults in person in Kraków and online, and offer online therapy to residents of Minnesota.

I offer a free initial consultation so that we can talk about what you're looking for, answer your questions, and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.

Guided Imagery and Music

The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery & Music

“The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a music-centered, consciousness-expanding therapy developed by Helen Bonny. Therapists trained in the Bonny Method choose classical music sequences that stimulate journeys of the imagination. Experiencing imagery in this way facilitates clients’ integration of mental, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of well-being.” —Association for Music and Imagery.
